Called Ford today I got the part number for Brace, may be back ordered though but it is VR3Z16A200A I'm told and was ordered $160.93 have not found Pelhum cover yet!
UPDATE found the Part # for the Cover that is under the Strut bar that comes on Performance package and I ordered be here 3 days BR3Z6A949C , Aprox $160.00

Did you ever find out if BR3Z6A949C was the correct part # for the engine cover for the V6?

When I lookup that part # on FordParts.com it only shows me the 2011 5.0 Cover.

Ford found it for me.............so new the dealer has to look up they saw in the exploded view of the v6 motor so I say, yeah it's right, will be in Monday or tuesday.

I went to the dealership today to try and order the cover and they couldn't find a part #. They were however able to print me out the exploded diagram. BUT the part # is no where near the part # they gave you.

6N041 on the attached picture is for the 2011 V6. We were able to find the other part # BR3Z6A949C but it was for the 5.0 V8.

all i can tell you is they looked at the part said that was it , the number that is i posted, and we'll see monday, or tuesday....

Yep Dizo, you were right, it came in............... 5.0 Cover so now they are calling ford cause they have to eat that part, I think the cover will have to come 2 extra parts too, that little bushing looking thing and the thing that appears to secure to Valve cover by the oil filler cap, like a lock down adapter, so I will find out shortly what Ford told them..

Ok an Update........Ford called and says Ford told him unless the VIN number on the car called for that Motor cover, the only way to get would be to get the VIN, send photos of broken part and then they would replace, the Strut bar is available cause the Verts use and the Perf. packs use, so the bar will work, so guess out of luck unless you order the car w/ Perf. Package on it? Going to pick up bar now.just to make sure DOES FIT LOL

Well just got back from ford, glad I opened the Strut brace...for a damn 5.0, I thought looked flat so I opened, so for now ford not sure, he will call me on the bar later, seeing that is standard on a Vert V6 I'm told they should be able to get ...so none of number I post fit the '11 V6 so far.

What a bunch of Bull. I feel for you, man, sounds like your getting the runaround for sure.

WTH is wrong with ford not making accessories available? Don't they realise we want to PAY MONEY for thier parts? I guess they just dont get it.

I think that $160 for a plastic cover is a ripoff anyway.

yeah, but you know was like this in april '09 when i bought my '10 GT, not crap for the car until like winter '09, didn't you have the steeda strut bar, what was the part number that fits ours?
