This post was reported to me and I am here watching....
Lets play nice and be civil. So far it hasn't gotten out of hand. Lets keep it that way.
As an owner of a Shelby GT500 I have seen many V6 and GT Mustangs upgraded with complete Shelby kits to include Cobra emblems. I have no issue with it as long as the owner does not try and intentionally represent it as a Shelby when asked.
I don't make anyone's payments but my own. Do with YOUR car as YOU wish. just represent it correctly when asked....
The cars in this thread look great guys!! Mod away... that's what these cars were born to be....modded

not tracking it, but what I meant was the cost of stock vs those 3k brakes, cause say insurance will pay 1500.00 for stock brakes, and those cost 3k my cost 1500, the shop said i can upgrade i just pay difference, but like those around that don't go to the track, but upgrade their suspension for the feel on highway and looks , thats what i want, if going to put something better under car why not do it, your getting parts at a discount and not paying out of your pocket for labor, it's like buying at bargin prices and you got a mechanic doing the work for free, as i said earlier, the ford racing rear end better in build and looks and is less than a stock rear end....so far have not heard what the damage is, so don't even know if frame bent or what..i can say the pipes are pushed over and not centered and they don't have a mark on them....also can't see why bigger brakes could hurt, or better than stock. probably never putting on track again, cause I tracked my '10 GT it stuck and ran fine down track, I'm still trying to wrap my head around how when i was standing on that track while they towed my car, i could barely lift my feet off track was so tacky, I don't care how over inflated they say my tires were i had same air in a more powerful car, with a manual tranny too, how could that 6'er just keep burning those tires....hell maybe cause i had 3.73 in gt and 3.31's in this car, are those going to allow those tires to spin that much easier, i'm just, like still shaking my head how a 6 banger could not run straight down a track on a perfect day..sorry. hell could there have been oil, was the armor all that big a factor, if i knew was going down to track days in advance i would never armor all them but i was surprised track was open and just did on a spere of moment thing...oh well... oh how wish this run last weekend, this baby ran straight and true..........
