Default JLT intake for 2011v6

I wont post the link, dont want to break any rules, but its easy enough to find.

On another forum, there is a thread about another intake for our V6's, this time by JLT. It shows very decent gains on the dyno and looks very nice too. It's either carbon fiber or carbon fiber looking plastic I believe. The cost will be right in line with the others that are out there.

Does anyone have any experience with this company? their products? This intake really looks nice in both design and fit and finish. I think it's the one i want.

I don't personally but I've read tons of glowing reviews from GT owners. The gain looks pretty huge and I think the JLT intake looks incredible. It's real carbon fiber.

i had one of the first ones from them on my '10 gt but to be brutally honest, it looked good but it did not give me more than 3 hp more on my '10......pricey..

Well that's not good. What did their dyno plots show for the 2010 GT? When you did your dyno runs were they back-to-back with the stock box and then the CAI?

JLT also claimed "11-14 HP" for their Mach 1 intake, which seemed exorbitant. Seems no matter which application, it's always "11-14 HP."

That intake does look nice, and the gains that they are claiming are very good indeed.

Hopefully this comes out soon, if not im buying an MMR intake hehe

You wont be dissapointed if you do. The car seemed to be faster and the throttle response improved as well. Also, every time you change gears or get on the gas, you can hear the intake sucking in air and it almost sounds like a soft blow off valve from a turbo lol.

They dyno'd before and after that day and that was first '10 the ever did....pre'10 mustang were not a true cold, was what they called ram air from what ford said, they said the '10 was first true cai by ford, and tuner agreed, he said damn the stock system is accually great, but the jlt cleaned up....I'm stick w / stock everything for now.I don't want JLT on my case, but there have been stock v6's on this site, dyno'd bone stock and were getting these numbers as JLT posted in that article "
The next few pulls were amazing, the car responded very well and power jumped to 254 RWHP and 234 RWTQ"

I'm not saying nothing here but someone feeding us something...I think one guy on here said he put down 251 or more stock? anyone remember that?
