I was going by this statement. below from procharger.......and maybe cause the autos shift points might need tweaked, like the bama tunes.....does the tune from bama affect the autos as everyones says...but us manual shifters don't get any benefit for shifting through their tune? we get other advantages from a bama tune, just nothing about shifting?

I've installed a centriifugal kit on an old 5.0 a few years back. They're surprisingly easy to install. They still take a while, but not as long or as difficult as you'd think.

The tuner kit (MT&Auto) needs injectors and a tune. The non tuner kit (MT only) comes with a turn key installation set up, nothing else need. Click below to get an idea of what is involved. They will have a non tuner kit for the Auto 6+ weeks. You may want go to the ProCharger web site and get there Installer list for your area. I did and the quote for everything (kit&installation) is less than what your quoting.

The non tuner kit comes with a SCT tuner. If you a SCT tuner they will not sell just the program. The tuner kit has no tune, you would have to have someone tune it. Yes it's plug and play for the non tuner kit. You should give them a call, they answered all my questions.
