Interesting information about "gigawatts"

The gigawatt is equal to one billion (109) watts or 1 gigawatt = 1000 megawatts. This unit is sometimes used for large power plants or power grids. For example, by the end of 2010 power shortages in China's Shanxi province were expected to increase to 5–6 GW[8] and the installed capacity of wind power in Germany was 25.8 GW.[9] The largest unit (out of four) of the Belgian Nuclear Plant Doel has a peak output of 1.04 GW

To run a typical SC it requires 41.2 hp for 700 cfm at 14.7 psi and 100% efficiency.
That would require 30,750 watts, or 2,261 Amps at 13.5V. That would require a bus bar the size of you arm to get power to it. My alternator is rated about 100A. These things do not work, they are a scam. There is no way your car can power a fan large enough to make measurable power.

That's Hilarious!

There was some guy who installed two leaf blowers to his C4 vette and gained like 40 HP. Of course he had no front clip on the car to accommodate them.

You would think this was a dead topic but its funny because electric supercharges is still the number one searched item on the internet regarding superchargers.

The electric superchargers are a scam and total waste of time and money.

Oh look, I clicked on the link and they include a free tube of grease to go with their kit. Apparently they realize if someone pays even $20 for the electric supercharger then they're getting screwed. They don't want their customers getting to chafed in the process.
