Whats your gas mileage been like?

Some of you guys get really crappy gas mileage. Actually I have gotten better mileage towing my motorcycle on trips than some of you get regularly.
31-33 driving about 72
26-28 mixed commute of 18+ miles each way
24 when it is more city driving
20+ towing the enclosed 5x12 trailer with motorcycles inside driving 72ish for 3500 mile trip that had plenty of eastern mountains to climb
Even at the Road America racetrack I was still in the mid 16's and I ran over 150 miles on that tank as hard and as fast as I was capable of on the track and only about 50 miles off the track

BTW I get down to about what you got at Road America when I am driving spirited in the mountains

I have only filled mine up twice since I bought it but here are my results so far:
20.8 all city driving
25.8 combination city/highway
I'm very happy with that. I traded in a 2008 Dodge Avenger with a 4 cylinder that got about the same mileage and it wasn't nearly as much fun to drive.
Looking forward to when I have a chance to take a long enough road trip to check a tank of all highway driving.

I have a 2012 3.7 MT, Steeda CAI, Steeda Tune 91oct, BBK TB, Supper Coils, JLT catch can.
My commute is 50 miles per day and I hit a fair amount of traffic about 40% city, 60% Freeway.
My mileage in the warmer months averages 26-27 mpg and in the cooler months it is about 27-29.
I took a 1000 mile road trip for 4th of July from So Cal up to lake up state. It was one of the hottest weekends I remember, the whole central valley was baking, most of the trip was temp was 100*+,traffic was poor but not horrible. My Mustang was loaded to the gills with stuff and some how i got 32.3 MPG on that trip. I thought the heat, the traffic, the extra weight, the mountain driving would bring down the mpg but I was impressed.

Moronix, you are are right, there are so many factors that affect the MPG calculations either by the computer or by hand calculation, that all we are doing is getting a close approximation.
But I do see some wild claims. Guys saying that they are getting 37+ MPG for example, considering that the EPA estimates are based upon ideal conditions pretty hard to accept that someone is getting way over the EPA estimate. Now with the "instant MPG" option I can get some great numbers; just crest a hill at 60 or so, let off the gas and coast down the other side and I can get a read out of 99 MPG and can post up the picture to prove I get that kind of mileage. The high MPG people I suspect are doing something like that, looking at the instant MPG to see what they are getting rather than using the on board computer or hand calculation to come up with an approximation of the true MPG.

All engines have a SWEET Spot in Efficiency , whereas Gov't testing is done @ RPM & Speed for all cars the same...
It could Blow your minds that by putting in a set of 3.55 gears [instead of 2.73] you could actually improve seat of the pants driving experience while also increase Gas Mileage under some driving conditions !
Why ? Because now your engine is operating in a Sweet Spot of the Torque Power curve of the engine !!
Hope this helps you understand a little, different approach !!

I'm getting 15L/100km (I'm in Canada), I haven't seen it change from that value even when I drive mixed highway/street. I mostly drive on the streets though and lots of idling would explain the poor gas mileage. I'm almost at 5000kms and its still 15L/100km, is there a certain time the gas mileage will come to normal as stated on fords website?

My car has about 32,000 miles on it. I got it with just under 14,000. It is a 2013 Premium Convertible, MT-82, stock 2,73 rear end (soon to be changed to either 3.31 or 3.55).
Mileage has not been great but is consistent. I get 19-20 average but most of my mileage is a short commute (about 4 miles) in crappy Atlanta traffic and other driving in crappy Atlanta traffic. I get about 29 on the road with cruise at about 70-73. If I take it up to +/-80 it falls to about 25 or maybe a little better. By the way - I hate the crappy Atlanta traffic...
