I got my headers on this past weekend.
Sounds better (much) a little louder but deeper in tone.
There is more power in the mid range, where it is needed.
siber express.
Your half done, looks like what my half done was, when it was half done.lol
must be the wiser's lol
For that back passenger bottom bolt, I cut a slot in a boxed 1/2 inch wrench, so it would fit between the stud and the header.

I finished them all up, it was about 45 more minutes, then I just did the wrench flip on that one, but the nut has been off enough it went almost all the way on

I haven't looked extensively but who has the bbk shorty headers and bbk catted x pipe? Some people say the catted x pipe for stock manifold or shorty headers doesn't exist. I see them on Americanmuscle.com. What is anyone's experience with this combination? By the way I thought MAC was coming out with a shorty header for 2011 and newer v6s this week? No sign of them yet.

Only problem with these is that they are $80 more than BBKs and no for sure ship date. Plus after Sep. 6th no more free shipping so add another $20 for shipping.

Honestly i need a dyno to see if i am actually making more power. My *** cant tell. What i do know is that the ceramic shorties have a much lower surface temperature compared to stock manifolds. I was measuring 450-550 F during normal driving with stock manifolds and no more than 250ish with my ceramic bbks. BBK and all these aftermarket companies need to upload a install video for all their products though...really crappy instructions.

I got Shorties put on my car not too long ago. Did it myself in about 2.5 hours. On jackstands and did it by myself except for one part of having a friend jack up the exhaust to the collectors. Very easy to do imo. Just make sure to take your time and its a breeze. Love the sound that comes out now. I have flowmaster axle backs on mine at the moment. Will more than likely upgrade to roush or borla pretty soon. But still sounds good and got rid of the drone id been having for a while too

I certainly did not need a Dyno to tell there was more low to mid range power, Night and day hitting the resume on the cruise, on hills it would wait to the top to get all the way up to the set speed, now it just resumes it in a steady short pull. This is all below 2000 RPM where the 3.7 was a true dog. Plus it is doing it without a tune.
