Axle Help
I've got a somewhat urgent question for anyone who might have some actual experience with this.
Due to a botched gear install killing my factory rear end, it seemed like the best bet was to order a Ford Racing axle assembly. AM claimed the axle didn't require any other parts or adapters to fit a 2012 V6. The shop called and said otherwise - that they needed a different driveshaft or some kind of adapter. A quick call to Ford Racing provided me with M-4851-B, the Cobra flange. Now, I know this is used when converting from 7.5" to 8.8" rears on the 05-10s, but can anyone confirm this for this application? Has anyone else installed a Ford Racing axle on a 2011+ V6?
