Anyone with a 2013/14 V-6 auto and BAMA (not Obama) tune?
Got my tuner yesterday and loaded the Performance 87 tune. Drove it today and it seems kind of boggy at takeoff but really hauls around 3k rpm. I also have a 87 street and 91 faced tune. My question is which tune do you have and like best? I mostly use my Pony as a daily driver. I like to take off at lights and occasionally like to floor it. Which tune should I be using? I'm not very knowledgeable about engine performance things and could use some ideas of what I need to do for my driving habits. Thanks.

If you have a OBAMA tune you'd be running a all electric mustang. lol
I know if your not liking your tune you can contact Bama and they will recalibrate it. As far as what tune too run that really comes down to you...and what you want.

I laughed at Obama tune.
I would go with the higher octane tune if I did not have to fill the tank twice a week. Even still the lower octane tunes can be tweaked a bit so if you want quicker throttle response ask the tuners.

The performance tune is for the medium RPM range and the street tune is for the lower rpm range. If you call Obama he can send you a hybrid tune that is a mix of street and performance tune.
I run a 91 octane race tune. I prefer the throttle response on the race tune.

I'm running the 87 Performance tune with 89 octane gas.
The Bama tune, with CAI, responds pretty well. The V6 performs much better than the similar set up I had on my '07 GT. My city mileage isn't great at 16-20 mpg, but my highway mpg is always over 30-31.
The more I drive the car, the better I'm learning how to control the throttle.
Good luck with yours.

Your setup looks like mine Ted. I'm going to try the street tune for a few days too. Im also running 89 with the 87 tune. If gas keeps going up I'll go back to 87. The performance is great above 3k. I wish they had better info on what tune doss what or ask you about hour driving habits, but I guess everyone is different, obviously. Thanks for the info Jesse.
