Default I generly average around 24 to 26 around town

That is stomping on it every now & then.
If I don't stomp on the gas at all I get around 27 or better.
I just went on a 2,126 mile round trip to the American Muscle show and from Daytona to Maple Grove and back to Daytona I got this.
This is written down and better then the liar on the dash claimed I was getting.

My guage on the computer never went past 27 MPG for the whole trip. I did this by writing it down.

Ronnie - how the heck do you get 24 - 26 around town? All I do is in-town driving and I'm getting 16.8.

Default I just drive normal most of the time.

I use 87 octane all the time. BJ's , Shell, Sunoco. Sometimes Sam's club gas. My Mustang has always got good MPG.
The first time I went to the AM show in Pa. I got 34 MPG for the round trip. I did not hit as much traffic or do any hill driving. My car had less then 100 miles on it when I left. I did drive slower at around 65 or 70 most of the time then because my car was brand new. I have not got that good since then but I'm really happy with what I get. I did have Magnafow streets but not the Airaid at that time. I'm talking pen and paper and not the computer which never gets over 27/28 most of the time. I don't ever remember it ever going over 28. It is usually at 24 almost all of the time.

I have found that mid grade fuel pay for itself. Here in NC mid grade is generally under 8% over regular in cost and I regularly add 10% to the mileage

daily commute is 100-120 miles, All highway, every day, pretty flat, 70 mph..28-31 mpg

I found the same results with my 3.8L also. And that running premium offered no increase over the midgrade.

2013 V6 with many bolt on mods, running 91H bama tune. I stomp on it once or twice per 30km average trip and I get 10.8 L/100km. I say tune your new baby up and you won't be sorry, because for the first couple of months I had my car stock, it got 14.2 L/100km on 87 octane.

He said he is getting about 21.7 MPG, and they converted to the Metric System starting in the Early 70's and finished in the early to mid 80's if I remember right.
