Weird scratching sound from center console while driving
My 2012 V6 manual developed a weird scratching sound from around the center of the car. The sound occurs in regular driving but the easiest way to reproduce it is by breaking and lifting off. I can hear the sound only on lift-off, not while breaking. Basically, when the front of the car lifts.
The sound is almost like paper scratching. Very non-mechanical. It started happening one day after I started driving from work and it's still there.
The car is now in service for grunting sound from LCA (already fixed right side, today they are doing the left side). But, for this scratching sound from the center console area, they couldn't hear it. It's possible this is because the noise is a bit high pitched and people lose ability to hear high pitched noises over time (two technicians were a bit older guys).
Anyone what could be causing this noise on lift-off and in general driving?
