With my turbo set up the oil filter is right above the hot side - almost impossible to take it off during an oil change without getting oil on the hot side wrap.

Does anyone have a remote filter set up? I thought I'd ask before I start gathering parts and trying to figure out what all I need to build something myself.

I know the 97-99 F150 4X4 had a remote filter on it that used the FL820s behind the front bumper, the base screws on the filter base like the oil filter and if my memory serves me correct you can run an 820s instead of the 500s so the base would be the same.
