Default Anyone using an Optima Battery in their 3.7?

Hi! Was on Optima's site, and they don't show any red or blue top batteries that fit our Mustangs. Is there a size or Part Number that anyone is using and knows fits/works? Thanks!

Welcome! I just put an Optima red top in my 05' GT as my 3 yr old battery was dying. ive always had good luck with Optimas and found one on local CL brand new still in plastic for $100. the regular red top will work just fine. its a tad taller than OEM replacements but still fits barely. if you can find one with "R" (34R or 35R) in the model number, that means the poles are reversed and cables wont have to be moved. by moved I mean just pulled forward of the stock location. good luck

I had one in a 2000 GT. Wasn't impressed. I am now staying with Interstate. Optima is a gimmick, one that costs more.
