Default Customer Satisfaction Program

I just got a letter from Ford. It says my VIN number falls into where the Throttle Body 'might' be bad. Says it might go into low speed mode with the Wrench Indicator or Service Engine Soon light on.

To see if your 2011 + V6 mustang is on the list, check with your local Ford dealer or I guess you'll get a letter like I did. My throttle body has never given me any problems at all but I'll set up an appointment anyway.

Call your dealer and tell them to check, Customer Satisfaction Program 16B23.

When I got the letter, I thought it was for the passenger side airbag inflator. I was told by my dealer to not be surprised if I get one in the mail in a few months. My dealer ordered the throttle body on Monday, it should be here later today. I hope this doesn't end up being months of waiting for the part to arrive because of being out of stock . I'll know later today

My throttle body came in today. Going to have them replace it tomorrow. I'm on several Mustang Forums and thought I would give everyone a 'heads up' about the throttle bodies. I have read a lot of Threads and post where people were having problem. I would think, not all the throttle bodies out there are bad. You'll get a letter from Ford if yours is
