Default Brake light switch replacement

Anyone replace your brake light switch in a 65'? I was having problems with the light working so I diagnosed that the switch was not completing the circuit. So I ordered a new one from Mustang Unlimited. The one I got is a Taiwan POS. It doesn'e lock in tight on the break linkage and only works in a certain position in which it will not stay. I am going to order a new one from Checker here in town so I can at least return it if I have problems. Anyone else have problems with this switch? The one I pulled had to be the original because it just looked warn out. Here is a pic of what I ordered.

There's a plastic bushing, two plastic washers and a pin required. Do you have them? Give me a while and I'll get the Ford drawing scanned.

Picture worth thousand words - old Chinese proverb written by some guy with a scanner.
Washers are Ford p/n C5DZ-2B129-B, bushing is p/n C5DZ-2474-B, the pin is 379797-S. Ford recomends that you lightly lube the shaft, bushing and washers with 10 weight oil. The switch is standard for all 65 and 66 drum, disc and power systems, and 67 to 70 non-power brake systems. Power brake versions are different and sometimes, well - won't work in regular systems.

Thank you for the picture. From looking at it I think I have the bushing and one of the washers flipped. Maybe if I switch them around the switch will line up better. I put them in the way they came out but maybe someone had this thing apart and assembled it wrong. Funny that it worked for 22 years that way, but it is worth a shot.
