Need tune up for this 98 gt.
Hi the car will arried to my home tomorrow, and first thing I will do tune up, like spark plug and wire, oil type and filter, tranny oils and rear diff. BTW the car is 1998 Mustang GT 5 Speed with 135k miles. The car will keep complete stock, mabe a K&N filter. So I do like stock part that force put in the car when it was build, thanks

Im sorry for my english, I knew it was bad and hard to understand, I try to break down what I try to asking is.
1998 Mustang GT 5 Speed with 135k miles, stock. I leaving this car stock no mod in the future, The car need a tune up.
1. What kind of oils weight for my car and for that high miles.
2. What filter is recomment.
3. What is best spark plug and wire for that car, what gap should I use ?
4. What is best tranny fluid and rear diff
5. How hard it to change those thing. I change spark plug and oil all the time in my 1995 GSX AWD Turbo. Thanks

Crank position sensor? I would think you would only need to replace that if the car was throwing a trouble code for it. If the sensor is not working properly, most likely the computer will cut spark and not even run. You are probably okay with this, unless someone knows something I don't?
It should be located close to your crankshaft near the bottom of the engine. Basically near the bottom-most pulley on your engine. From the pictures I'm looking at in a repair manual, it should be easy to replace, but someone told me once that the A/C compressor is in the way; I'm not sure.

Here's the smartest thing to do. Go to the Ford dealership and ask them for spark plugs for your exact car. They will be cheap and they are guaranteed to work well.
As for the oil, yes Mobil 1 is known to be good stuff. Most oil brands have a "high-milage" series of oils to use in, well, higher-milage cars. As for the weight, I don't want to lie to you so someone chime in with that.
