i want to install an aftermarket headunit with only one set of pre amp outputs. i have bought a fourchannel OEM premium stereo integration harness for my car(they label at a 4channel amp but its really a way to dial in resistance...) the reason i want the wiring diagrams is so i can see what wire does what.....i have enough electrical expierence to know that if i have the diagram i can see what i am working with. this plug and play crap seems to good to be true with these mach 460's....

Thats what I'd like to know, if you have that wiring diagram for the 01 still, shoot it over please, or post where you got it, I have an 02 with the 6disc, I asume you have the older single cd thats below the main unit? Are you trying to use all the stock amps/speaker setup with aftermarket head unit?

oh, that is crap.
Page 2 of my sig shows how I wired into my 94 with a mach. If you use that integrations system it will work just fine until you add a sub and then it will sound bad.

The plug and play harness worked perfectly in my 2000 GT with mach 460. I intstalled a pioneer head unit last saturday and it only took a few hours. I have the factory wiring diagram for the 2000 mach 460. Give me your e-mail address and I'll attach it in an email. The diagram is six pages long. Have fun.

the only way to really tell is to pull the radio out of the dash and see what wiring is going to it. It could be either way, unless you see the mach equipmentunder the rear deck.

i ended up going to Helms, downloading the wiring diagrams and going into the dash and hacking it up. I am waiting on a four pot to dial in the system. I ended up just cutting the propritary connections and wiring it myself. The wiring harness did not have the remote power wire correctly located in the wiring harness from crutchfield. To those with the 2000 GT mach 460 with the single CD player on the bottom, i am happy to supply diagrams and information to the lost ones. Thanks to everyones helps. Hopefully within the week it will all be wrapped up.
