thanks for all the info i don't really want to blow my motor but if it happens it happens as long as it after some use and i have enuff money saved up for a dart block or man of war block. and i figure i would just run the t-5 untill it gose boom i just rebulit it less then 1k ago. i just hope i can make it this whole summer at least runing around 500-550 horse all of the time well not when i'm cursing because the sweet thing about turbos is if you don't get on the gas you don't hit boost

get a g force, not a tremec. a tremec is notchy kinda ruff shifting. but a g force wines a lil. so take your pic. or you can go with a t-56 viper trans thats going in mine.

okay my next question is when i start to crack the block will it be ovbious all of the motors i have blown before were rods going trough the block or cranks snapping i have never had craked or split block before but this is my frist ford.

yeah,cause a tremec wasn't designed for the weak wristed...

the block is your weak link.
Most people say to go with Dart block
over 500 hp.
You can probably get by for a while
but dont be surprised if it comes apart on
you one day.

My Brother in Law has a 351 stroker that dynoed at 850 HP. It has a girdle, and the block is partial filled. Above that, you need a after market block.
