351 for my fox

RE: 351 for my fox
Welp, the 2V and 4V arn't meant to be 4 valve and 2 valve.
For a 351Windsor, there is no such label. The 2V and 4V was used on the 351Cleveland.
Its the casting for the heads. The 2V is the more street friendly heads, the ports arn't as large
as the 4V heads. The 4V heads were cast for racing in mind. They're also the same heads that were
installed on the Boss302. But they're all 2 valve engines. Don't get the 2V and 4V confused as meaning
2 and four valve engines. Only thing different about the Clevlends valves are that they're HUGE and
they're a canted valve design. Which means the valve doesn't open up and down inside the cylinder. It
opens at a slight angle.

RE: 351 for my fox
If its in a torino then the simplest way to look is if it came factory with 4 bbl that was easiest way to figure out if they were 4v or 2v cause most of the windsors that i pulled that had factory 4 bbl had 4v heads and had way bigger valves in it then the 2bbl 2v heads. and the v isnt for valve its for viscosity or something like that...
