Default 351W from a 95 clubwagon?

my dad as a 95 clubwagon with a 351 in it im guessing thats the W would it be worth taking it and building it up to drop in my 84 he is junking the van cause the trans is shot and it needs new alt smog brake system and power steering and he is exactly mr. money bags so would it be worth takin?

haha your guess is as good as mine its sitting at a shop and its been there since the summer the engine is in great condition though and its strong as hell fast van for how big it is seats 15 i just thought of it now i wish i thought of this a while back

i just thought it would be a good idea since its free and my dad took care of that thing i know its a good engine its got something like 175k miles on it but solid always liked that van

It has to be a W, they stopped making Cs in the mid 70s. Count 6 valve cover bolts on each head...

this is the best i found for the engine on a quick google search....Catalog No. HPFOR-351WRLB

my question still stands though is it worth taking that engine and building it up instead of my stock 5.0?

I would say yes. It is a 351 so that has much more potential to hp then the 302. If your dad is junking it I mean why not?

ok sweet its got close to 200k on it so i dunno but im going to take this thing all the way down and clean everything and get this engine like new.
