Well it looks like u have a 83-85GT or Svo hood My stock Lx hood fit but only had about 1- 1 &1/2 inches of clearence without the spacer . Didnt wanna chance breakin a mount and messing up the hood so I got a 4inch lift off cowl hood
CJ pony part makes you hood with the hole already cut out. They have some nice repro's there I wannt get soem new trim for them after the summer

The hood I have is from the factory on my dad bought the car new in the spring of 84 when I turned 15.83-84 GTs came with a reverse hood like mine with the hole cut out already as you see I have no clearance with the cleaner on it just touchs.Your ride looks sweet its about time some one else got on here with some good knowledge and a car well put togeather.Look forward the sharing so more info with you in the future pony guy.I posted some pics of the car.
