my motor looks completely stock and its decently modified, could be using aftermarket cast iron heads ect, cam ect, could be stroked ect, im not saying your wrong but im saying your judging off basics that could be wrong. a stock 351w like i said will lay around 220 at the wheels and thats not nearly enough to run a 13.2 exp knowing a stock 351w is 60 pounds more then the 5.0block.

If u only have a grand ur very limited on gaining any real power unless you go spray drop a plate kit on there 150shot and be done till u can save for more.

Man, parts for it are cheap, and you can find everything you need right here in Huntsville. Lemme know when you get it, and by then I might have some stuff off mine since I'm changing some stuff over.

Well with about 13-15K and if you do it yourself you can run a 9.45 like i did (full interior).with some very nice internals, h/c/i, exhaust, suspension and really ****in big shot. oh and of course slicks and skinnies. but with5k you go half as good on the parts and you might be able to take a couple Z06's withdecent drivers behind the wheel. Before i crashed mine i was eatin Z06's like they were hondas and i was driven a stock 351W. My buddy has a 351W with a huge blower on his with some spray and lots of work and no interiorand he runs 7.6. So depending on how deep your pockets and the patience you have with how long it takes to build you can build a ****in monster bro.best wishes for your wife to get better soon and god bless you for bein in iraq and get home safe if you leave again.
