Default heads for now and later

hey guys...im getting a 351 for a winter build and im wondering with a stock bottom end, trickflow or holley intake, 42lb injectors supercharged and boost cooler, what heads would be good. but this summer im going to redo the bottom end with a 408 stroker. im wondering if there is a head that i can use to satisy both my needs. so i dont have to buy new heads in a few months.

RHS 200's
Canfield 195's
AFR 205's
AFR 185's
Canfield 212's

just depends on your budget. Basically any good head with 190-210cc intake runners

yep, basically get the biggest head you can afford.

If you can afford $1,800+ AFR 205's or such thats the way to go for sure.

Not uncommon, if you are running a well built stroker motor in a Fox body, you will probably spend more for the motor than the MSRP was on the car brand new...[&:]

i work at a parts store. we dont do High Performance, but I have connections. Some guys are saying Aluminum heads are bad for leaks and such. One speed shop in town here has World Castings. Its a cast iron high flow big valve head. Ever heard of it? Also, have you heard of problems with aluminum?

205's would be way to big for the na build, but since it sounds as if you are going to make more than 550 hp the 205's would be a good way to go in the end.

never heard of any problems with aluminum heads. maybe if your water temp is extremely high like 250+ then you might warp them but other wise never heard or had any issues with aluminum heads
