hey thanks for the site jasper! hey on my car the dome lights dont work. theyre ran throuth the alarm control box in the trunk, i swapped in my girlfriends outta her stang and they worked. does that box have to be out of a stang or could i just go to the junk yard and get one outta nething, say like a vic or sumthin, and if i do should i find one w the remotes w it or could i just give the dealership the num of the box and have them order sum? is it true that the 5.0 explorers have iron gt40 heads and a cobra style intake? thats what ive read on another site.

Ok, here's what I've got, I just bought a 1990 Mustang GT with the 5.0HO in it. I am fairly mechanically inclined and I know my way around the modulars pretty well, I have the baby Triton in my truck, but do not know my way around the Stang yet, I'm still learning. The motor is all stock w/ the exception of intake and full exhaust including shorty headers(that's what was there when i bought it). I was offered a free 351W block the other day, completed stripped, just block. I was looking at taking it, boring it .030 over and then putting a stroker kit into it. I've got a few questions though, first and foremost, what all comes in a stroker kit if i buy one from a place like Jegs. Second, where can i go to get a good quality product as far as a stroker kit? Third, how will the other stock components match up ie, tranny(not sure what's in it, as I said, i'm not real familiar with what i'm working with yet), driveline back to the rear axle. I realized that the driveline should mate up to the tranny no problem, but will it withstand the added power. I realize i'm kinda all over the place trying to put all of this together, but any help or literature would be very much appreciated thanks.
