If you read my post it states don't use the Ford replacement mount which is the sn95 mount. The original mounts (part number E3ZZ) were shorter and let the engine set down further. In the late 80's they revised the mounts (E7ZZ and E9ZZ partnumbers)again which sat the engine up higher. It was still shorter than the hardtop mount. Ford then quit offering it and as a replacement offers the SN 95 (F4ZZ) mount. Thus, do not use the Ford replacement. They are not the same height as the original 83 vert mounts. Edelbrock offers a efi victor intake like the spyder in there catalog with the bosses already there. So does Professional products. its just a heavier copy of the edelbrock. Its also no where near as expensive as the spyder from CHP. Edelbock even offers the fuel rail kitif I am not mistaken.
so then where can you get them if ford doesnt make them anymore

this bickering is pointless, no need to hosedown theforum with testosterone gents....

anywho, does anyone know if the carbed typhoon intake with the nitrous bosses can accept fuel rails instead? I have to have an intake with a carb flange on top to use the elbow. I have to use the elbow.

Ebay and there is a shop in Va called PPI I believe that sometimes has parts like them. Karkraft in Michigan is another place that might have them. I've bought probably 10 set on ebay in the past year. You can also find drop mounts from some of the suspension and race parts companies. If you have a 96-up k-member there is another mount that can be used with a 351w. If you good at fabrication you can shorten the motor mounts yourself. You have to be careful when doing this.

1st: Edlebrock doesnt make the Vic Jr. for the 351 block.

You just need to get the Super Victor EFI intake. It cost $305 from Summit and is perfect for a 408W
It's basically the same thing. I ran mine N/A and it operates fine.

Hood clearance can be done but will take some trial and error
and test fitting and modifying of the TB elbow. Expect some headaches
and frustration but it can be done with enough modifying and customizing.

Ok, like you then I've never found one for sale either.
maybe they are discontinued now.

Just get the Super Victor EFI intake anyway. Its better for a 408 then a Vic Jr.
I went from a long runnner TFS intake to the Super Vic and noticed zero loss in low end
torque, so dont worry about that.

i highly doubt you would have to worry about torque loss with a 408
