i keephearing that i can use a stock 5.0 upper intake on a stocktruck 351 lower is there a certain year lower i need to use?

i thought the same thing and thats what i planned on doing to get my 351w swap completed.. but it didn't work out. I had a 5.0 H.O. and swapped in a 351w from a 95 f250 FI.. the 5.0 plenum DID NOT fit on the 351w lower.

maybe I got screwed but thats just my .02

The swap is a myth. They don't bolt up.

Ford Racings GT 40 upper and lower intake will work. Thats what I have on my 351.
