Default 400 HP to the wheels?

You could get there by stroking the 351 to 393/408 and use TFS High port heads and a Vic jr intake with long tube large primary tube headers. You will need a good custom cam(Camshaft Innovations) and this will be achieveable naturally aspirated. It will also help you to have a manual tanny in the car as the AOD automatic is a horse power pig making it a little tougher to get you goal of 400 HP to the wheels.

If I could almost make it na with a 347 you shouldnt need to stroke yours, and I made it with off the shelf intake, cam, and heads..

I'm far from an expert, but wildcobrar's recipe looks good for about 525 hp.

u dont need to stroke a well built 351 to reach 400 rwhp , look around there are many that have hit it without stroking them

ya thats what im saying its already displaced at 351. 49 cubes over a 302 h.o. would a trick flow kit or a systemmaxx 2 kit be able to handle it all?

the kits u mentioned above will most likely get u there

something like a 10.5 to 1 compression,205cc heads, custom cam,vic jr intake , lt's,and well tuned carb and the ususal supporting boltons would probably get u real close if its a stick car.

400Hp is not hard to reach with a 351w. all you need trick flow 185's eddy victor jr intake and a 750 cfm and a trick flow stage 3 cam. my body makje 411 rwhp, 397 rwtq. pretty good if you ask m i think r.barn made 475hp but he had a custom cam i belive.
