brake caliper's?

mustang brakes suck, always have and with a broke *** ford, always will...
However they usually suck because they lock up, im hoping your problems are fixed with the calipers or else there might be something else seriously wrong with you brake system...
My mustang always was a little slow on the stop, im swapping to 4 disk via a 94-98 rear, should be able to do so for under 500.00 if i dont opt to change the internals of the rear... just a thought

If the front lock up without basicly standing on them the replace the calipers and pads and bleed them. If its then either they are over adjusted after a brake job or the wheel cylinders are stcking and need to be replaced. Just do the above and you will be pleased with the difference.

ok so when i went to advance, they only were able to come up with one of the calipers. the left side i believe. and also when i look it up online there are several listing for the calipers. www.advanceautoparts.com i looked up 1986 svo and then calipers. with the parts numbers u provided it only showed the one(r55247s) that listing said unloaded,73mm,w/steel piston. however there are other calipers that they have have both of, but the numbers are different or it doesn't have the "s" i am assuming the "s" means steel. Please help me figure out what i need to do. and i also couldn't find the metal slide pin bushings

ok so i think i have figured everything out. i think! lol advance(from what i can tell) only carries both the calipers in the phonemic version and only has the left of the steel. ok so what i have read it says the phonemic will be fine for the street or daily driving. so what is the draw back for going with the phonemic ones?
