Default 1986 351HO block questions

This isnt for my mustang but was hoping you guys could help.

I have a 1986 Ford Bronco XLT with a 351windsor HO (4barrel) motor and a c6 tranny.

someone said that the motor had dome top pistons from the factory and would not fit the E7's off my 89 mustang, i may need to change the heads on the truck and am looking to do it cheap, is this true?

YOU have the evidence... since you have the block.
Just pull the heads and see what you have...

As for the E7's....
Don't waste your time.

My Father had an 84 F150 w/ this 351 HO engine, C6 and a 9" under it. It was a pulling SOB. We would out pull all of the other local guys to the track on race day. They would all meet up at my Fathers house in a convoy kinda deal and my Ol' man would be atleast 10 to 15 minutes ahead by the time we went to the track. IF the carb isn't running right, don't blame the carb, I blame the tuner/owner.

lol, its an 1986 Ford bronco, 4x4 (obvious) C6 and 9 inch rear with 4.56's. Thing spins the 33's round corners and possies. Yes it back fires and runs rich, but its seen 20 miles in a year and a half, so i blame not running for that right now. Im giving it to a friend in need, and needed to replace the headers, worries that the broken studs wont come out, thus the head question.

I have an 86 351W block in my 89 Hatch. When I fist got the motor and tore it down I specifically remember it NOT having dome top pistons. I think they were flat w/ valve reliefs.
