Default possible 5.8 swap

I have a 95 GT. It is all stock but looking for a lot more power. I was told that if i put a set of afr 185s trick flow 2000 cam and an edlebrock performer rpm 2 intake that i could make 340 to the gronud. I was thinking bout doing a 351 swap. Is it worth the time and trouble? If i run that same setup what kinda power would i make out of the 351 with the same hci as mentioned above? I drag race and need to know if this set up will give me alot better edge or will it be a waste of my time and money?

No replacement for displacement. If you are going to drag race go with the 351.
