Default same question, new motor choice

Posted up a question on motor choices between a 351 blown or a 408w. Answers were kinda split between one, the other or both.

Question now is a 408w or a 4.6 terminator, ive read up on the swap and its possible, and wouldnt cost to much more for a good amount of power. has anyone here thought about going dohc and just was interested in your imput compared to a 408w.

I would think that the 408 would be more bang for the buck, but I have never really messed with a modular motor. My only modular experience is the 1997 mustang GT I had but never messed with the engine.

I may be a little biased as well because I am building a 408 right now

You can go fast with either. Carbed stroker is way easier.

trying to avoid the easy way out, will prolly end up going stroker but the deal was there and i was tempted to bite. As far as bang for the buck, when just considering the motor, i think its close but the mod motor would be more streetable at say 650rwhp,
