Default 427 build(finnally got the motor back)

He guys, Well after waiting 5months, the wifes dad finally got he motor back.
The set up is a 351 based, CHP 427 stroker kit, AFR 225s, Super victor-port matched, Solid roller conversion, afr rocker girdle, msd dizzy, moroso 7qt. pan and alot more.

Things were waiting on, have to order some offset dowels to align the bellhousing, get some custom 2" headers built, then we have to set the motor/tranny to get the lenght for the drivshaft thats bolting up to a tko 600. well enough talk hers some pics.

motors goingin a 68' coupe. It made 583 hp at 6k, and 541 at 5200. Motor is balanced for 8k, but the builder stop before the 6oohp stock block ratin was reached. Just want yall to know this was tuned and dynoed with a worked over holley 750 with a 850 base plate. Carb builder said its equivalent to a 850, id really like to see a 1050 on there and see the power curve. Went that direction cause this cars going to be pretty much a allout street car

lol , luckily its not coming outta my pocket.

UPDATE: Gut at american drivetrain forgot to order the dowels so were still waiting on those. The headers are going to be a pain, not to mention about a 4 week wait for build time. Tommarrow were going to moch up the drivetrain to get the driveshaft on its way. You know the typical hot rod build!!!
