just interested in which you would perfer, any stories good or bad. Considering a 427w build and trying to decide which block im going to use...
What i have heard is that the World Products block is almost too beefy, causing clearence issues, and ive read about 1 or 2 complaints about Dart blocks. Im more interested in the iron blocks, as i cannot justify the extra coin for aluminum on a street car.

Both the iron blocks you mention are excellent blocks and I believe you will be satisfied with either one you choose. I have worked with both these blocks used in 418W to 454W applications and have no negatives I can report about either. Both companies have long histories with great reputations in racing. If I had to choose one over the other, I would select the man-o-war block by the smallest margin. But, they are both fine pieces and most often it is price and availability that become the determining factor for me.

its good to hear that, as fordstrokers.com offers the man o war blocks and i was planning on using them to build the motor.

both are very good choices! also take a look at the new ford boss 351 blocks that are out, they are a windsor based block not the cleveland style, and are priced very well and can handle some serious cubes.
