hey it sounds like your on your way and thats great news, just dont lose sight of your goal, strike while the iron is hot and get it done, youll be drivin it before you know it. just remember the radiator i used was from a lincoln mark viii, which is is a foxbody platform, the other lincolns are not so the rads will be different. dont forget youll have to run an electric fan so you may want to grab a taurus fan while your scroungin throught the yard, mine came off of a taurus with a 3.8 v6. good luck
Licoln Mark VII or Mark VIII?? I know the Mark VII is fox platform for sure.
Yeah nice thing about cleveland is you need not buy aftermarket heads. they work well as they are or just with some porting. I have a 138 dollar flat solid cam and 80 dollar lifters with KB hyperutectic dished pistons with 13 cc dish for 9.8 to 1 compression. FRPP 9 index timing set and i was good to go with Aussie cleveland ported 2V heads. I was going to go nitrous too but given the car runs quite hard as is I thought I would leave things be.
My 660 ft is just under 102 mph and 6.88 seconds. I drive this thing all the time. It has been together for almost 7 years now. Many 6000 rpm launches and 7000 rpm shifts. Who says Clevelands are not tough. It is also a D2 block with 4 bolt mains on all 5 main caps from the factory.
I am currently building a stroker Cleveland(393) and I picked up a great set of heads. I think this one is going to be an animal. we will soon see.

Looks like i might not have to search around the junkyard. My dad talked to a friend of his and the guy has a stock radiator and a set of headlights for a hundred bucks. Says he'll throw in the fan too so we'll see what we got. Should be gettin them in a week or so. But thanks for the encouragement and help. It's much appreciated.
