If it is a 351, it will look like this and hace about a 1 inch rise.

okay guys i bought a block crank and heads for 40 bucks for a build up the crank is perfect shape the block needs to be cleaned up but how do i know what year the block is i have a casting number of

will the crank work in any year 351 and whats the differance between the 351w and the 351m

351M and 400 are from the 335 series Ford engine. 351W and 302 and 289 are windsor base. All are small blocks though.
