Default 351 help from the old dogs.

Hi guys i currently have a 351 in my 90 coupe. But its time for more power.

I wanna stroke it to a 408 or 418 and run nitrous and a turbo. Now my question is that practical. Am i going over board. This is my project drag car, I have all the neccessities to do so.

Just looking for knowledge or help on the motor aspect. What kind of stroker kits out there do you prefer? Should i even stroke it if i'm going turbo/nitrous? Any insight on this would be appreciated as i'm young and don't wanna spend the money twice cause i f'd up lol. thx guys.

Summit? Jegs? Local performance shop? Up to you. Do some research. They come in 4.00 inch bore and also 4.125 inch. When I buy one, it will be 4.125.

stroker nitrous turbo are you gone over board? LOL, why not just boost the 351 then when the time comes for more power you can turn up the boost more.. it boils down to how fast you want to go or how much coin you have to spend.
