Question which rotating parts on a budget?

Ok, so im fairly new to a 351 build. I've have mustangs with bolt ons but am working on building a 351w for my 94gt. I am having my 95 roller block machined honed and bored over .030. I want to build everything on my own but dont know if the machine shop could machine the rotating parts on my short block or if i should purchase new rotating parts (ie crank, pistons, rods, etc.) Im on a tight budget of about 500 bucks. what would be my best way to go for a budget rebuild for near stock components not to include the machine work?

Hey I may be able to help you a little.First off your budget may be a little low,but as far the rotating parts,if the crank doesnt have any grooves in it,then it can be polished.
As far as the other stuff,if you bore it .30 over then the other parts are going to be too small.
I think if dont bore it though, you could possibly have them freshened up,I have seen that done before.

If you get the block bored then .030 over pistons are needed. You can get the crank turned .010 on the mains and rods then get larger bearings to compensate. I hope $500 isn't your total budget on that build to have it in the car. You will need specific swap parts such as oil pan with pickup, acc brackets and headers (with a little work on the midpipe I think you can make 302 headers work but I have yet to test it)
