Default Turbo 351w build (pics)

Well guys I decided to turbo my mustang. My current setup is a 351w decently modded but now I am installing a 70mm turbo. Going to start on low boost, my motor has a higher compression so this winter it will most likely require different heads or for the fact a full motor rebuild. but so far this is where I am at.

Oddly enough the turbo kit I purchased from on 3 performance didnt come with an instruction kit which isnt a big problem but the alternator relocation bracket is fricken retarded. Any help would be appreciated.

its not a relocation bracket. just a new one..

flip it over possibly, it looks like its backwards, and it bolts to your water pump

Very nice. Be sure to keep us updated on how it goes. I for one am definitely interested in hearing your thoughts about the On 3 kit because I went ahead and got me one too. And it should be arriving here within the next week or so.

So far the kit is baller, I have heard good and bad things about on 3. My kit was short a few v-band clamps and it didnt include a manual. I was able to figure the bracket out tho by someone elses photo on theturboforum. I called on 3 and chad sent my parts out right away, should get them tomorrow.

Here is a pic of the trunk box for the battery.

wasn't to long ago you where posting up about that 351. surprised to see a turbo already, haha.

I know a guy pretty well with the on3 kit, he has had great results.

worked gt40 heads, forget the cam, 306 I think, trapping 123mph I belive, no tuning other then fuel pressure, timing, and such.

I've thought a lot about there kits, but I just cant sell myself on having half the engine bay taken up, more weight over the nose of the car, and the HEAT.

I look forward to your build.
