Jim doesn't do builder kits anymore and yes you can use a cast crank just machine it for 2.75 main journals I ended up using I beams as well turn the bitsh to 7700rpm no problem

um... yeah he still does DIY kits...?

he doesnt sell just the rotating masses anymore but he still lets you build it yourself

and either way, 3.00 or 2.749" mains will be fine just keep it below 6500. besides a 408 is gonna be an animal anyways, you wont want to rev it over 4500 for the first few weeks anyways lol

Use a damn Cleveland 2.f'n75 journal spacer if you want to see the bottom end doing the moon walk then go 3.0 and keep it below 5500 if you want it to live awhile

I got a 3 hr preaching about this opted to do it my way and I destroyed a perfectly good block then got a told ya so but do keep in mind I only post if I did do it happened to me or seen with my own eyes

Ok so u guys are saying I can't get the whole block and bottom end as a kit any more I checked the fordstroker website and those are still on there
