me and my friend are about to go buy a foxbody mustang rolling chassis.

we want to build this as a drag car.
we were thinking of putting a 351 or 408 stroker motor in it. cant decide.

we are both 17 years old but his dad is planning on helping us. we want to turbo it and make about 700-1000hp. what motor should we go with.

if you are gone to turbo it I would say stay 351

That's exactly what we were thinking cause if we would go with the 408 with turbo we would never be able to put the power to the ground. What numbers would we be looking at with these mods

we are looking to make about high to mid 9 seconds with this set up.

what size turbo? Long tubes wont work. what heads are you gone to run?

Maybe an 80mm and looking to run trick flow ported and polished aluminum heads.
