Default 351 windsor swap 95 gt need some info

okay.....first off i want to say sorry for the varry bad gramer you are about to read that said

i just got a 351 windsor out of a RV 210hp 325tq yes its week but im gona convert it to h.o. dont need help with that usein old cam tfs2 cam love it i know a head cam combo will bring this engine alive i also have a garrett 75m turbo run 8psi i tuned the 5.0 with a mega squirt 2 came with base tune then i got a nice tune but i know the 351 is gona need difrent fule maps and was wondering if anyone here would hapen to have one that i could save it would be a grave help and save me so much time tuneing and if anyone is wondering why i want to upgrade its cause iv hered so much about stock 5.0 block spliting with 600+hp i have not dyno my car but id asoom it was round 350 hp maby more 42lb injecktors 440cc ford raceing green upgaded maf with safc controler with ms2 anyhow im rambeling on about stuff that probly is not inportant just tryin to inform you all about what my car is and what its got i got this 351 w and have and idear what i need to swop it but id rather not be a know it all and ask if anyone can give me a list of the things needed for the swop all i know of right know is this


need flywheel cause of the 351 w has a 28oz flywheel 302 has 50oz 351 front sump 302 rear sump still would like info on this stuff cause i may be missing things well im leaveing out a fue things but il save you guys the flustrashon of reading my bad grammer im slow as far as spelling and gramer thank you all please dont troll im just askin for informaton that can make my job more eazy thank you all so much

Had to reread that post a couple times haha. Anyways, MOST of the parts from the 302 will swap to a 351w. And you had a lot of the misc. stuff that didn't swap already listed, which is good to know. FRPP sells the oil pan swap, only thing you'll need extra is an oil pump, or reuse the 302's. Heads are the same, although if you've got a nice set on the 302 then you'll need to drill the bolt holes out for it to fit the 351w ("7/16 vs "1/2). Not hard. Lower intake won't swap since the 351w is physically wider than the 302, but a 5.0 upper will bolt to a 351w lower. New hood since the 351w is physically taller also. There's some ways you can move the motor about in the engine bay to let it barely clear the stock hood but its too much trouble imo. Cowl hoods just look beast anyways. If the 351w isn't a roller motor, then I would advise swapping the lifters to a retrofit hydraulic roller so you can run a much more aggressive cam. Ford didn't make the 351w hydraulic til 94-95.

These are the things I needed for my 351 swap in my 95 GT.
1. Oil pan from ford racing with pic-up and stick for the swap. Got it from Summit Racing
2. Shorty headers from hooker for the swap in the the SN95 (not Fox, but they might work), and have not found any one that makes long tubes. From Summit
3. 28 ounce dampener and fly wheel. Summit
4. A lightning GT40 lower intake.
5. 94 351 short block from a F250 (already set up as a roller) P.S. need a roller cam for the EFI set up I'm told.
6. I have poly motor mounts but I still had to make room for the steering column to diver side header (nasty rub).
7. A 2 1/2 inch cowl hood (should be a 3 inch)
8. I am using the 95 Cobra computer and 24lbs injectors for know (stock tune).
9. Stock T5
10. Know don't LYAO but I installed the GT40P heads for know til I get TFS AFR or something. They do give me a but load of low end torque.

I did rebuild the engine. Balanced, stock 94 bottom, 10 10 grind, 30 over, 18.6 cc dish pistons, heads were rebuilt and cc checked at 59cc so my compression is 8.96 to 1. and a E303 cam I had in the shop.

For know this will do till I get the 393 all finished up.

sold all the 351 swap parts changed my mind got a --->((4.6 dohc 32v))<--- engine and get this reuseing the dizzy and ecu out of the 5.0 just recalabraited maf for 24lb injecktors and fabricateing valve cover to use dizzy off cam seeing that the 4.6 has same fireing order dont have to worry about ecu fule map or rev limiter cause all i gota do is use the cobra tune for fule maps and chang rev lim round gona be sick yooo il post picks some time soon but i changeing to hydroboost brakes and tubuler k member and lots more but il stop blabing onless anyone wants to know more about what im doin
