Default Cutting out at launch

I've got a few problems i hope someone can help me with. First is my car seems to cut out for a sec right after i launch. Second I'm running a C4 with 4.10 rear gear and 28x10.5 slicks and cant get to the end of the quarter. I'm hitting the rev limiter at 67500 at least 200 feet before the trap. I'm not sure if it’s the converter or just too tall of a rear gear. The first problem I cant feel in the car but can see it on video. Its killing my 60 foot times best I can get is 1.39’s. Any help would be great. I live 2 1/2 hours from the nearest track.

you need to do the math and figure out how much converter slip you are having on the top end.

Ive looked at some of the converter tables on line and its seems i should be getting there at 6750. The converter stalls at about 4100. Don’t know much about Auto’s have always run TKO’s. I was hoping someone out there was running the same setup to help me troubleshoot.

Check the air/fuel ratio, might be somewhat rich......
