RE: What Longtubes?
SLPs or Kooks are the top two...Also I have heard that American racing is making very high quality headers for our cars now for a very competitive price! If you want the cheap way out get the BBK longtubes like I did on my last mach 1. Quality was decent...but make sure to take a grinder / dremel took to the ports and smooth out all of the sloppy weld splatter they left in there! If just one of those pieces brake off and get sucked into the EGR you can kiss one unlucky piston ring goodbye...maybe worse. For the price they do perform really well though...but you'll have to remove the passenger side at the least if you ever have to drop the tranny [:'(]
