RE: Cutting the y-pipe for H-pipe duals. Affected Backpressure?
backpreasure is the force that is created by the motor trying to push the gasses out, that is bad, however, you want the exhaust gasses to get "sucked" out of the motor with as much velocity as possible going to a 2.25" cat back with an H/X pipe will decrease backpreasure and help a little bit with velocity to help give you a little more power
