Went to the opening day at Englishtown NJ today...i had a hard time hooking up in second gear, so my time a little high
kinda disapointed but here are the numbers
Good job getting out there! Don't worry about your reaction time - the timer won't start 'til you move the car (bracket racing is a different story though). You've got a good margin for improvement in your 60' time. The best rule of thumb I've seen is that a reduction of 0.15 seconds in your 60" will result in a 0.25 second improvement in your overall ET (that's just a general guide). Gears/LSD/DR's will GREATLY help lower your times, especially since you commented about traction issues.
Again, nice job getting out there!

I went to Cecil County last weekend and netted a 14.432 @ 97.06mph (a new personal best and moved me up 2 positions on page 1). That ET was with a cruddy 60' time of 2.087, which is 0.155 slower than my normal 1.93's. It was cold, so traction was a problem.
Tomorrow I'm headed for MIR, where I plan to heat my meats alot better with the new line locks. Wish me luck!
