Default New V6 4.0 Mustang Owner

Hey Guys,

I just bought a Satin Silver 2005 V6 Mustang. It wasa program car at a dealership, and had only 9,000 miles on it, and is in cherry condition. I've already got Mod Fever, and I've got my list of upcoming Mods listed below. I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out the best place/price for these mods. Thanks, and I look forward to many more posts and alot of updated pics in the future!

Late Model Restoration Supply
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...egory=MGRILLE7
GT Grille, Fog Lights, Wiring Harness, & Switch
$399.95
(Is this a good price for the whole kit?)

Sony MEX-BT5000 & Sony 6x8 4-Way speakers for door & rear deck

Tail Section Honeycomb Blackout Panel (Not sure where to get this, other than eBay)

MyColor Conversion to Gauge Cluster

Paint Matched Rocker Panels

4.0 High Output Emblems

17" or 18" Bullit Wheels

Congrats on your purchase!

The Honeycomb panel you can get right from the maker. Silverhorse Racing. They put out quality pieces with everything they do.

The Rocker panels I think there might be an interest for a group buy going on at the 4.0 Collective site through Paulboy

I believe you can get the 4.0 emblems from Autobadges

Welcome to the community....becareful that MOD bug is a bad critter...The Mods you stated are great mods to start with, I would sugest shopping around and do alot of research before you buy things, research the threads here on Mustangs Forum, there is so much useful information and sources here plussome members here are very knowlegable others aren't....the key don't rush and do what you want to make it yours. Cleveland auto parts....look it up in the threads here, great source for parts.....got me my fogs and exhaust hangers and a few other goodies at less than 50% dealer cost....E-Bay is another source just becareful somethings they say that are suposed to be for an 05-07 "wheels in paticular but many other things" don't fit.....Good Luck and again welcome

Congratulations!!!!

Instead of the GT front, you might consider a '06-'07 Pony Package grille and fog lights-it is a direct replacement to the stock grille.

I installed a Magnaflow single and it was easy to install and sounds good.

Enjoy!!!!

If you are goingto do GT fogs and grill and rockers as well as Bullitt wheels, you may want to look at Saleen or one of the other takeoff dealers for a package deal. Saleen was selling the complete kit including dual exhaust for $1200.00 IMO that is a deal you can't go wrong with.

Welcome and good find on that GT grill. I wonder if this is a true modified grill because the V6 bumper will not fit an OEM grill but if this in fact fits it's a good find.

Congratulations, I got mine last week. The 17" Pony Pkg painted rims match the satin silver paint.
