only problem if i was to get any of the set-ups mentioned here i would always be "in the boost" my driving style is as we say "spirited" or "bat out of hell". Get what i mean. Not a big deal if engine breaks on me by 80K miles, im at 19k already. I mean it is a big deal but i don't think the car will last me that long anyways. Maybe 100k miles till i upgrade and put her in the garage for a new school resto-mod.
about 5 miles of freeway between me an dmy store and my car sees the pedal on the floor almost everyday on that road no problems yet o_O I think any of the systems will run on the car safely for a while. The manufacturers of these products test them and stand by them not to kill your car. Its when you start making the boost even more when you might see problems which is why the makers of the products void your warranty on the booster at that point o_O.

Yes hopefully one of the X Charger guys will post if I am wrong.
yeah i see what you mean Krazer....im just not sure if thats how it works....sure at cruise it will be bypassing but at 4500....i just dont see that happening lol but maybe...the x is not hooked into the computer it doesnt know if the pedal is mashed or not, it only knows how fast its turning.....but again i may be wrongim still learning...where are "the X men" when we need them! LOL
OK, I'm car illiterate when it comes to tuning up cars. I'm great with fixing or replacing anything, I guess you can call me a self-mechanic.
Anyways, I have a 05 V6 Automatic, and I want to tune it up with the best stuff.
I hear all this talk about superchargers, and zero talk if they can be put on an automatic. I wouldn't mind purchasing a supercharger but can you put one of them in a V6 4.0 automatic?
If you guys can hit me with some info about the best parts for tuning up a 05 V6 Automatic, I would appreciate it.

Rygen is turbo automatic
Myself and scrming are automatic centi supercharged
Afixer is xcharger auto i believe
Thats the ones that come off the top of my head. It is very possible and fun =)
any of them will fit. Procharger has a kit Theres XCharger and Theres vortech. I personally use the vortech. You tend to see a little bit higher numbers on the procharger for some reason (not sure if its because procharger people may have mor emods than vortech) but procharger seems to have the most problems. I havent seen a problem with the vortech yet. Xcharger is the newest and is a roots type blower instead of centrifugal so it would definately be more fun on the street i think. Other than that for turbo there is powerhouse and ssm. Xcharger supposedly has the simplest install so if your good at repairing your car you may be able to do it yourself.

Yeah I had talked to Dave from EE and from what I remember if I remember correctlywhen talking with him about how the bypass valve works he said the gas pedaleither has to be a littlepast half way (or maybe it was 3/4 down) down to the floorfor the bypass valve to close and boost to come on.
