What's the difference between the v6 grill and the GT grill?
They say a v6 grill won't fit on a GT... why is that? Furthermore how would one modify a v6 grill to fit on a GT or a GT grill to fit on a V6.

it seems to be a tad taller than the v6 grill. i heard that you had to cut some clips to make it fit. i feel that it requires more than that though. never tired it myself

I dont think the pony grill is wimpy. Personally I like the smaller lights with the chrome corral and trim, rather than the big ones that look like they were just stuck on there.

RE: What's the difference between the v6 grill and the GT grill?
My intent was actually to put a v6 grill on a GT. They make a grill for the v6 which has the big GT foglights about an inch closer together.
The reason I care is because I can sneak a pony emblem next to one of the lights and failing that it looks better in general. My main reasn for caring is because I am going to be trying many many options to get my GT bumper grill just right, and being able to fit in v6 parts just increases the amount of modification options I have.
The other competing option to this other than simply this offset grill OR this offset grill with a pony emblem... is a Shelby style grill, then mounting fog lights BEHIND the setup. i've heard of people doing that before, but I'm not sold on how that looks.
Finally I was thinking of mounting blacked out fog lights on a Roush style bumper.
All of this is a sort of a design compromise, between liking the Shelby GT (not 500) grill, and loving the mustang fog lights.
Idealy I could have some sort of setup where the car looks like a Shelby GT during the day, and a normal GT/Pony Package at night. Don't mention some sort of pop up assembly because that would look a little odd.
Here's one guy that managed to solve the problem resonably well.
I'm trying to create a similar design compromise, but the result I'm getting are sort of madening.
ohh eff it.

If this is done I'll make you an even higher quality sig when I get my hands back on photoshop. Unfortunatly I don't have acess to it now.
Chaces are the above setup will look horrible and instead it would be best to simply do the Shelby look and simply do blacked out fog lighights in the brake cooling ducts.
However I'll never know until I have a concept.
Other than that please will our lucky volunteer remove the leaf and make sure to do with gril reflection. (patch tool and transform>flip horizontal with opacity).
If this doesn't get many replies then I'll make a new thread as this is on a seperate topic now away from my original grill brain storming.
