Now I would call a tow truck, and get it taken to a mustang performance shop. Have them do a compression test.

Cam,
this makes me sick that this happened. i actually called Dave on Sunday when i read this. were both feeling that she is hurt. with what you are doing for the country its a shame that this happened. just put this in the life lesson file. that if your not sure of something ask first. were are all here to help each other. if you would have just posted first that you were thinking of racing around with out the tune. i am sure some of us would have chimed in. hopefully the place that has your car gives military discounts and will take good care of you. all i can say is if you thought the x was fun befor just wait till you get the proper tune installed.

i wouldnt even use my C&L until i got the proper tunes sent to me let alone a supercharger!

good luck to you dude and maybe this lesson can be taught to others by you. this mistake can be made from other mods as well so now is your chance to take on a second service to your country which is to educate the uneducated on what not to do with major car mods. as negative as this is, you can always find a positive. again, good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

alright, compression test results: 130-140 all cylinders, 90 for cylinder #1.
tomorrow they do a leak down test. they said the possibilities for the low compression are: bent pushrod(clicking sound), collapsed lifter, cracked piston, or burnt valve. the spark plugs i had in there came out looking burnt and most of the prongs were contacting the electrode(like they had either been mashed or melted) also the oil has a milky hue to it.
thats it for now

new spark plugs went in. redid compression test. its all fine now. spark plugs did it right this time. clicking sound is still there. shop guy suggested to take the valve cover off, since the clicking seemed like it was more than just the egr valve. so i took off the drivers side valve cover. jeeeeeeeeeeeez. alot of work. found a little surprise when i did, the "oil" that was left over in there was WHITE and had the consistency of cool whip. i also realized that once i had the valve cover off, i have absolutly no clue what the hell i was looking for. my frustration is becoming exponentially worse as the days continue. i want to fix this myself but i have no idea what im doing. so thats what it is. i have this entire weekend off to do whatever i can to bring her back onto the street.
if anybody wants to call me and hopefully help me out with this, let me know, ill give you my number.
