ok so im going to start putting money away to get an x-charger hopefully by june if not then after summer is over...not gonna be a track go-er but id have my fair share once or twice. If i get X-CHARGER 06-08 Mustang 4.0 SOHC HI-PO PLUS with tuner, that comes with everything for the install to be completed. And would can our stock rears handle it, would i have to get new gears, and a tlok...or would it just be beneficial?? this is the first time im actually looking at this so any information will be helpful...
thanks

Hi Stephen,

The X-CHARGER XTREME intercooled upgrade is real. The design process is complete and, IMHO, it's pretty sweet. It looks like the heat exchange will be installed thru the grille opening without removing the front bumper cover. We are trying to get some vendors for the IC core and heat exchanger lined up. The cost of aluminum has gone thru the roof and we're trying our best to keep the cost down.

Doug is scheduled to come out in September and tune the X-CX.

Thanks again for choosing X-CHARGER,
Dave

For more information, give us a call at 707-254-7025 Monday thru Thursday 10AM to 4PM Pacific time.

Thanks for your inquiry,
Dave Vanek

So is the intercooler done and on the market? Will it be soon. I'm curious.

I have had mine for about 2000 miles. Took it to the track once, and sucked at launching. Still managed a best of 14.2 with just a stock motor and the hiPo kit with 3.0 pulley. There is definitely much more in it though, my best time was launching at idle.

What else you got? Just that, I would guess low 14's to high 13's.

it is just the 2.8 hipo with 93 octane tune. stock tires stock everything. the wetx will go on soon as soon as i figure out how to work it.

I'm curious Joe, tell me your rationalization for that answer, especially when Workshop claims a 14.2 with a 3.0 HiPo and horrible launches.
